The Viability Working Group

The Viability Working Group has had three meetings so far and will continue meeting monthly until February of 2017. This group will be working on refining and prioritizing the broad goals and approaches outlined in the Viability Initiative. We are excited to have everyone on board!

Statewide Gathering

As the Project Coordinator for the NH Food Alliance, Erin brings her extensive knowledge of local food, leadership skills, and enthusiasm to the team. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Wheaton College and a Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of New Hampshire. Erin fell in love with local food when she started volunteering with Seacoast Eat Local in 2010 and has since pursued additional coursework in order to better understand topics in sustainability and food systems.

 Erin's work with the NH Food Alliance focuses on research, data analysis, and writing and communication. Before joining the NH Food Alliance team, Erin completed a PhD in agriculture and science education from UC Davis with a focus on coalition building and collaborative research between farmers and conservation groups in California’s Central Valley.

Jennifer is a research associate with the NH Food Alliance at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Sustainability Institute. In her role, she works with the NHFA research team to conduct food systems research and works with stakeholders to influence policy and debates about the future of the NH food system.
