Join Us for Advocacy and Legislative Trainings!
Over the summer, the Food Alliance will be offering Advocacy on the Road trainings by New Futures to our network! These trainings are part of the Food Alliance's effort to help our network become more active on food/agriculture-related policy, and fits into our other policy initiatives. Each training will be offered in a different region of the state by a local host partner, making them convenient and accessible. Even better, all of these trainings are completely free!
Do you want to make change in New Hampshire, but aren’t sure where to start? These trainings will teach you how to effectively advocate for issues you care about in the Granite State. You'll learn about the unique NH legislature, how a bill becomes a law, best practices for engaging with legislators, practical advocacy and communication skills, and more. The main objective is for attendees to understand the inherent opportunity they have to influence the future of our state, and to leave feeling empowered and confident in their ability to take direct action on issues they care about. Afterwards, you'll be better equipped to make a difference in the New Hampshire state government. Find your region and register below!
